Positions available at the Oceania Dairy Factory site in Glenavy for the upcoming season starting mid-August 2017
Hilton Haulage Ltd and Dairy Fresh Milk Logistics have recently joined forces and now offer more career opportunities within NZ.
Applications are now open for the upcoming Milk Collection season that is due to commence around mid-August 2017. We have numerous positions available (both permanent and fixed-term) based at the Oceania Dairy Factory in Glenavy.
Being a dairy driver with Hilton Haulage is an exciting position to have. We have some of the best and biggest milk collection trucks on the road – making us a key player in this ever-growing industry. We are serious about safety – with tertiary level ACC accreditation and a 5 star ORS rating – we mean it when we say we care about our employee’s safety and wellbeing.
What we offer:
- · A great hourly rate with guaranteed hours
- · Meal and travel allowances
- · Modern and well maintained fleet and equipment
- · 5+ weeks of annual leave
We are looking for applications from individuals who hold their Class 5 drivers’ licence and offer Truck & Trailer experience, who understand the importance of safety at work, have great attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a range of people including colleagues, customers and farmers.
The position works a rotating roster of 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days off. Normal work hours begin at 7am for day shift, and 5pm for night shift.
As the milk collection volumes drop off, there’s the opportunity to have a look around the different parts of our business and do something different for a couple of months each year (for example: operating v-bins during the harvest season).
The ideal applicant will have at least three years of recent Class 5 driving experience, be confident carting liquid loads and have a great attitude.
If you would like to join an organisation where trucks and transport are at the heart of what we do, please apply now.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
Applications close Friday 9th June 2017.
